How I Helped

Visual Design with Purpose

The client wanted something visually striking, inspired by sites like Already Media. I created a bold dark theme that leaned into the red-and-black palette of the brand, with typography and spacing that emphasised confidence and clarity.

But the visuals weren’t just skin-deep. I incorporated interactive HTML canvas backgrounds powered by custom shaders — both in the hero and further down the page — adding visual depth without bogging down the site.

These features were deliberately chosen and carefully tuned to feel slick and engaging, not distracting. They gave the site the flair it needed to stand out in a competitive space — without the performance penalties of heavy frameworks or bloated animation libraries.

Clean Build, Built to Last

The site was built on a lean, performance-optimised WordPress stack using a custom theme and minimal plugins. No page builders, no unnecessary overhead — just clean code and dependable tools.

All interactive visuals are scoped to load only when needed, ensuring excellent performance on both desktop and mobile.

Smooth, Direct Workflow

This was a fast-moving project with a short deadline and minimal revisions — the kind of job where clear communication and trust make all the difference. I worked independently to get the first version built, then refined the final touches in response to feedback.

From staging site to production deployment (on the client’s Cloudways hosting), the whole process was kept simple, efficient, and stress-free.
